Confira a programação completa:

23 a 27/09/2013 – Using FPGAs With Embedded Processors in Your Designs

Every FPGA manufacturer now offers devices that feature a combination of programmable fabric and fixed function processors on one device. This class will help you determine if these devices are right for your current design and which specific product is the best fit. We will first cover the existing products, tools, and development board available to establish a base of knowledge. Then, we’ll explore some specific design examples that can be used as comparisons for a variety of designs. In the final class, we’ll look at example designs suggested by students of this class and use a suggested selection criteria to try and identify the “best fit” options.
The Track features lecturer Warren Miller who has in-depth experience of programmable devices (PLDs, FPGAs, MCUs, and ASICs) in industrial, networking, and consumer applications and holds several device patents. Warren has authored more than 100 conference papers, whitepapers, application notes, and magazine articles on a wide variety of topics.

Courses include:

  • Sept. 23 | Day 1 – An Introduction to FPGAs With Embedded Processors
  • Sept. 24 | Day 2 – Architecture Details
  • Sept. 25 | Day 3 – Tool Support
  • Sept. 26 | Day 4 – Application Examples
  • Sept. 27 | Day 5 – A Review of Your Designs
